For those of you who keep coming back to this blog, I thank you. I've just added functionality to the blog to make it easier for you to keep up with The Fires of the Forge. In addition to just coming back to the blog via browser you've got two options.

If you want to use a blog aggregator like bloglines.com (the one I use), My Yahoo or newsgator.com, click the "subscribe in a reader" link to the right. What's an aggregator? It's a free service that basically looks for new content from all the blogs you keep up with, and puts it in one place. It is like a personal newspaper with the content being the posts from the blogs you track. Pretty cool.

If you are more an email kind of person, there's an option over to the right for you, too. Which to use? If you are only keeping track of this blog, then use email. If you are tracking (or want to track) more than this blog, use an aggregator. It's free and easy.

Notice: BFO

This may not be a BFO to you (a blinding flash of the obvious), but I am figuring out this blogging thing as I go. Yet I think it is important to just say it out loud: I am figuring this out as I go. I feel better just saying that.

You will notice that I will now begin titling posts in basically one of two ways.

When a post title starts off "Leadership:" I will be sharing something I think is practical regarding developing leadership skills or the ability to make emotional intelligence practical.

When a post title starts off "Personal:" I will be sharing something that is happening to me along my own journey through the fires of the forge.

Today, you will see both types of posts because a lot is going on right now. I hope you find them useful.
